Redmi 10 Prime launched in India with 50MP camera and MediaTek Helio G88 SoC
The smartphone was launched during an online event alongside company’s new TWS Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro. Redmi 10 Prime is the first phone in India that comes with MediaTek Helio G88 chipset.

Redmi 10 Prime price in India is Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+64GB variant and Rs 14,499 for the top-end 6GB RAM+128GB model. The Redmi 10 Prime will be available in Astral White, Bifrost White, and Phantom Black colours. The device will go on sale from today September 7 starting 12 noon through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studios, and major retail outlets across the country. The customers can get a discount of Rs 750 using HDFC Bank credit cards and EMI.

Redmi 10 Prime features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio which supports 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Redmi 10 Prime has the octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, coupled with ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.
Redmi 10 Prime has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.The Redmi 10 Prime also carries an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens.
Redmi 10 Prime runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. The device also supports 9W reverse wired charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
