Realme has launched Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G in India on Thursday September 9. Both the new Realme phones launched alongside its first-ever tablet called the Realme Pad, and two new Bluetooth speakers called the Cobble and Pocket.
Realme 8i, Realme 8s 5G price in India, availability
Realme 8i comes in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 13,999 and 15,999 respectively. The Realme 8i will be available in Space Black and Space Purple colours from 12pm (noon) on September 14.
Realme 8s comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively. Realme 8s 5G will go on sale in Universe Blue and Universe Purple shades starting 12pm (noon) on September 13.
Both phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Realme.com, and major offline retailers in the country.
Realme 8i specifications
Realme 8i features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,412 pixels) display with a 90.80 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone offers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour Space and Dragontrail Pro protection. Realme 8i is the first phone in the country to come with the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G57 with either 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card up to 256GB.
Realme 8i has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF HDR along with a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. For selfie lovers the smartphone offers a 16MP front camera.
Realme 8i runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.Realme 8i packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Realme 8s 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Realme 8s is the first phone in the world to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, with either 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB.
Realme 8s 5G has a triple rear camera setup that comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. It also includes a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. this camera supports features such as Super Nightscape, Panoramic View, Expert, Timelapse, Portrait Mode, HDR, Ultra Macro, AI Scene Recognition, and AI Beauty. On the front, there is a punch-hole on the display, inside which is a 16-megapixel camera with an F2.1 aperture.
Realme 8s 5G runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. Realme 8s 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart Charge fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
