Micromax on Friday announced its comeback in the Indian market. Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma announced a new range of locally manufactured ‘IN mobile phone range’ against the Chinese counterparts. The company official Twitter handle shared a video of Micromax founder Rahul Sharma, who announced the company's comeback in order to reduce reliance on Chinese products.
According to a report in June, Micromax is expected to launch three new phones under Rs 10,000. The company has now decided to make a comeback with its “In” range of smartphones. Micromax is yet to reveal any details about its In-lineup of phones. The Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone will come loaded with an octa-core processor with base frequency 2.30GHz, and processor will be MediaTek Helio P35 SoC or G35 chipset, 4GB RAM, and Android 10.
Micromax has also pledged an investment of Rs 500 crores for expanding its local manufacturing capabilities and research and development operations owing to its comeback in the Indian mobile phone market.
