ASUS ZenFone 7, ZenFone 7 Pro finally launched by the Taiwanese giant. They’re the successors to the company’s wild motorized flip camera phone, ZenFone 6 (or Asus 6z in India). The ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro come in two colors such as Aurora Black and Pastel White. The 6GB+128GB base variant of the ZenFone 7 has been priced at NT$ 21,990 (~Rs. 55,699) while the 8GB+128GB variant has been priced at NT$ 23,990 (~Rs. 60,799) in Taiwan.The ZenFone 7 Pro arrives in a single 8GB+256GB variant that has been priced at NT$ 27,990 (~Rs. 70,899) in Taiwan. The sales of the ZenFone 7 series begins in Taiwan, though there are no details about their global launch.

ASUS Zenfone 7 also comes with a similar display as the Pro model. It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) HDR+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 90Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support. The display also has 700 nits of peak brightness as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor along with Adreno 650 GPU and comes in two RAM/Storage options: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The flip camera of the ZenFone 7 a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main camera with 113-degee FOV and f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX686 ultrawide lens with f/2/2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and USB Type-C port.The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging and run Android 10 with ZenUI 7 on top.

Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with Adreno 650 GPU. It comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). The camera setup on both the phones are near identical and includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor for the primary camera as well as a 12-megapixel secondary and 8-megapixel camera sensors.Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device also run ZenUI atop Android 10 and features a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Both the new models will be a direct competition to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. ASUS is yet to announce a launch date for the Zenfone 7 series in India.
